It’s intended to be a serif font that’s acceptable for human body text, that is very readable printed smaller or displayed on a low-resolution display screen and it has even spacing and proportions. It was developed by Dutch typeface designer Jelle Bosma in 2004, with enter from Steve Matteson and Robin Nicholas.
